A few more clues before the arrival of the iPhone 14

The list of subcontractors is becoming clearer, while the device should be released in September.

Once again, Ming-Chi Kuo shares his latest news from Apple’s Asian production line. We learn that the Apple firm has just signed with one more subcontractor for its future iPhones; SG Microphone . The company will be responsible, among other things, for delivering components related to the battery of famous mobiles.

Why only now? Because as we know, Apple has a long test process through which each of its partners must pass to show its seriousness and the quality of its factories. It is also a prerequisite for other suppliers such as Samsung and BOE Electronics, the latter having been rejected during these same control stages .

A title to follow in Shenzhen

According to Ming-Chi Kuo, this is excellent news for SG Micro, which is for the first time a brand collaborator for Apple. Access to the group’s high-end smartphones should indeed guarantee it a new major and sustainable source of income , with analysts agreeing that Cupertino’s next quarters are looking good .

Following the rumor shared by Kuo, the founder’s price climbed a few points before finally stabilizing at the end of the session. The prices offered by the company would clearly be more advantageous for Apple, which thus takes advantage of it to reduce its costs even if it is rumored that the iPhone 14s risk being inaccessible below the thousand euro mark .

More autonomy?

As a reminder, the iPhone 13 today offer up to twenty-eight hours of endurance in video playback if we look at the case of the most expensive model, the iPhone 13 Pro Max. A figure therefore largely sufficient for most consumers, who even when traveling can do without an external battery with this result.

We do not yet know if the iPhone 14 will be able to do better, however it should be noted that the iPhone 13 mini format is probably at the end in favor of a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max. So maybe it’s time to say goodbye to small diagonals , with the third-generation iPhone SE as a consolation prize.
