Kuo: arrival of the Apple VR headset with a keynote in January

And you’ll probably be able to buy it before the next WWDC, in a year.

The Worldwide Developer Conference 2022 has just ended, without the Apple brand revealing the highly anticipated mixed reality headset it is preparing behind the scenes. This confirms several rumors to this effect, according to which the device is not yet finished and will need several months of additional development before large-scale production.

Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst who has often been right in the past, thinks that pre -orders will only start in the second quarter of 2023 before the article arrives in the Apple Store around June. As a reminder, the product is supposed to be worth more than a thousand euros and could only work in conjunction with an iPhone, therefore not with other mobiles.

Change of date for the launch?

The researcher also thinks that the helmet will be presented during a conference to be organized next January . However, it is not in the habits of Apple to plan events on this date but rather around March or April, when it is not a simple press release announcing new products.

Other informants support this theory, however, such as Robert Scoble last week . A source whose pedigree is certainly not equivalent to that of Kuo but remains supported by a solid media presence.

More revenue for services

Recently, we also learned that Apple is working with the film industry to create new content for its future virtual reality experience. Jon Favreau, the iconic character behind the success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, would notably be at the helm as TV+ productions reach several hundred million dollars.

Apple Arcade would obviously be another very good candidate to offer various video games in free access, for a monthly subscription. For the moment, the platform costs 4.99 euros per month. It is available on Mac, iPhone and iPad and the App Store is one of the key ingredients that has already enabled its publisher to take first place in the global gaming market.

Could you invest in a VR headset + Apple One package?

If one of the two photos is favorited, the software then decides to keep the one that has been selected by the user as his “favorite”. Until now, this functionality was possible via third-party applications, so Apple is providing a native solution to this tedious task and will greatly facilitate the life of selfie lovers and other photo shooters with their iPhone.
