Apple has updated the sheet of its new computer, the MacBook Pro 13″ M2 announced during the last keynote of WWDC 2022. The Californian firm has added two dates: that of the opening of pre-orders , and that of the first deliveries and availability in stores.
The MacBook PRo 13″ M2: when can we buy it?
You will have to wait until Friday, June 17 to buy the machine. Pre-orders will open at 2 p.m. French time that day. The first deliveries will take place the following week, Friday June 24th . Of course, only the quickest to place an order will receive their machine within 7 days. Latecomers will certainly have to wait a little longer, given the shortage situation currently affecting many subcontractors and tech companies, including Apple.
Which models are available for purchase, at what price?
The base MacBook Pro 13″ M2 costs $1599. However, you can configure it with various improvements, knowing that, as a base, it integrates an M2 CPU 8-core chip and 10-core GPU, with 256 SSD and 8 GB of RAM:
- MacBook Pro 13″ M2 8 GB 256 SSD: $1,599 (first price)
- MacBook Pro 13″ M2 16 GB 256 SSD: $1,829
- MacBook Pro 13″ M2 24 GB 256 SSD: $2,059
Count +$230 to go from 256 to 512 GB, +$460 for 1 TB and +$920 for 2 TB.
In terms of finishes, only two choices are possible: Silver and Space Gray.
